What is the difference between PCB and PCBA?

I believe many people are not unfamiliar with the terms related to the electronic industry such as PCB circuit board and SMT chip processing. These are often heard in daily life, but many people don’t know much about PCBA and are often confused with PCB. So what is PCBA? What is the difference between PCBA and PCB? Let’s get to know.

I- પીસીબીએ:
PCBA process: PCBA = printed circuit board assembly, that is, the empty PCB board passes through the whole process of SMT loading and dip plug-in, which is referred to as PCBA process for short.

II-પીસીબી:
Printed circuit board (PCB) is an important electronic component, the support of electronic components and the carrier of electrical connection of electronic components. Because it is made by electronic printing, it is called “printed” circuit board.

Printed Circuit Board:
The English abbreviation PCB (printed circuit board) or PWB (printed wire board) is often used. It is an important electronic component, the support of electronic components and the provider of circuit connection of electronic components. The traditional circuit board adopts the method of printing etchant to make the circuit and drawing, so it is called printed circuit board or printed circuit board. Due to the continuous miniaturization and refinement of electronic products, at present, most circuit boards are made by attaching etching resist (film pressing or coating) and etching after exposure and development.
In the late 1990s, when many multi-layer printed circuit board schemes were put forward, multi-layer printed circuit board has been officially put into practice until now.

Differences between PCBA and PCB:
1. PCB has no components
2. PCBA refers to that after the manufacturer obtains the PCB as raw material, the electronic components required for welding and assembly on the PCB board through SMT or plug-in processing, such as IC, resistor, capacitor, crystal oscillator, transformer and other electronic components. After high-temperature heating in the reflow furnace, the mechanical connection between the components and the PCB board will be formed, so as to form PCBA.
From the above introduction, we can know that PCBA generally refers to a processing process, which can also be understood as finished circuit board, that is, PCBA can be calculated only after the processes on PCB are completed. PCB refers to an empty પ્રિન્ટેડ સર્કિટ બોર્ડ with no parts on it.
