ສາກໄຟໄຮ້ສາຍ breaks the way that power transmission can only depend on direct contact transmission of wires. It is a non-contact transmission, and can avoid contact sparks, sliding wear, explosive shocks and other problems that may be caused by contact power transmission. There are three main types of radio energy transmission: electromagnetic induction, electromagnetic resonance and electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic induction is currently the most commonly used radio power transmission method. Its technology has been produced in quantity, is cheaper than other technologies in production costs, and has been verified by security and shopping malls. Currently, there are three major alliances dedicated to the development and standard-setting of wireless charging technology, namely Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP), Power Matters Alliance (PAM) and Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). Qi standard is the “wireless charging” standard for WPC, which uses the most mainstream electromagnetic induction charging technology at present. Qi standard is mainly for portable electronic products such as cameras, video and music players, toys, personal care and mobile phones. At present, the research and design of low-power wireless charger is mainly for mobile phone wireless charging. All of them are based on TI company’s BQ500211 special chip. In some small-power terminals, special integrated chip is also used. Using special integrated chip in the initial development can save development time, but in the long run, it is not conducive to cost reduction and later expansion and upgrade.
Although wireless charging technology has made some progress, there are still some difficult technical problems in the development process. First, the charging efficiency is not high. Once a little farther away, the efficiency of charging decreases dramatically, wasting a lot of time and resources to complete the charging, so it is not meaningful to use. Secondly, the safety problem during the charging process. High-power wireless charging equipment will produce a large amount of electromagnetic radiation, which will have some adverse effects on health, but also will have interference effects on airplanes, communications and so on. Third, practical aspects. The current wireless charging technology can only be achieved by fixing it at a certain point, which is not convenient and practical. Fourth, it is very expensive, because wireless charging technology is still in the initial stage of development and application, and the cost of research is high, so the product price of research and development is relatively high.

Electromagnetic induction
This is the most common way of working a wireless charger. It uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to generate current through the electromagnetic induction between the primary and secondary coils, thus enabling the transmission of energy in a spatial range. The implementation of this wireless charger has been promoted by the Wireless Charging Alliance.

Radio wave is a mature wireless charging method for wireless chargers at this stage. Its working principle is to use micro efficient receiving circuit to capture radio waves in space, and then convert the electromagnetic energy into stable energy. There are already companies that claim to be able to wirelessly charge electronic devices smaller than cellular phones a few meters away.

Electromagnetic resonance
This is a wireless charging technology that is still under development and is being studied by a team led by a professor of physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Engineers at Intel based on this technology have achieved a 60W light bulb that is about a meter from the power supply and 75% transmission efficiency. Intel engineers say their next goal will be to recharge a modified laptop using this wireless charging technology. However, to achieve this goal, the interference and influence of electromagnetic fields on other components of the computer need to be solved.
