The layer number of PCB

Usually the same area, the more PCB layers, the more expensive the price. The design engineer should use as few layers as possible to complete the PCB design while ensuring the quality of the design signal.

PCB size

For a given number of layers, the smaller the PCB size, the lower the price. In PCB design, if the design engineer can reduce the size of PCB without affecting the electrical performance, it can reasonably reduce the size and reduce the cost.

Manufacturing difficulty

The main parameters affecting PCB manufacturing include minimum line width, minimum line spacing, minimum drilling, etc. If these parameters are set too small or the process capacity has reached the minimum limit of PCB factory, then the yield of PCB will be low and the cost of production will increase. Therefore, in the process of PCB design, try to avoid challenging the limit of the factory, set 20 reasonable line width and line spacing, drilling and so on. Similarly, through hole can complete the design, try not to use HDI blind buried hole, because the processing process of blind buried hole is much more difficult than through hole, will increase the production cost of PCB.

PCB board material

There are many kinds of PCB board, such as paper base printed circuit board, epoxy glass fiber cloth printed circuit board, rice composite base printed circuit board, special base metal base printed circuit board and so on. Different materials processing gap is very large, and some special materials processing cycle will be longer, so in the design of the choice can meet the design requirements, but also more common parity materials, such as RF4 materials.
