How to ensure the quality of PCB board, reasonable and effective assembly, so as to save raw materials, the production company attaches great importance to solve a problem.

1. Collage connection mode

There are two link modes of PCB, one is V-cut, the other is stamp hole link. V-cut is generally suitable for PCB with rectangular shape, characterized by neat edge after separation and low processing cost, so it is recommended to use it first. Stamp hole is generally suitable for irregular plate type assembling, for example, MID “L” plate frame structure often adopts the link mode of stamp hole to assemble the plate.

2. Number of collage:

The size of the whole board must be calculated according to the size of a single PCB board. The size of the whole board should not exceed the maximum size range of PCB (the length of PCB board should not be greater than 250mm). Too many boards will affect the accuracy of the board position and the accuracy of the chip. Generally, the main board of MID class is 2 boards, and the sub-board of keyboard and LCD board is no more than 6 boards. The sub-board of special area is determined according to the specific situation.

3, stamp hole link bar requirements

In a PCB Mosaic, the number of link bars should be appropriate, generally 2-3 link bars, so that the strength of THE PCB can meet the requirements of the production process, and do not break easily. When the link bar is designed, it is generally required to design 4-5mm length, non-metallic hole hole, size is generally 0.3mm-0.5mm, the spacing between holes is 0.8-1.2mm;

4. Process side

When the board is relatively dense, the board edge space is limited, the need to increase the process edge, used for SMT PCB board transmission edge, generally 3-5mm. Generally, a positioning hole is added to each of the four corners of the process edge, and optical positioning points are added to the three corners to strengthen the positioning of the machine.
